1. Paratici still needs to bring an intelligent creative attacking mid in. Bryan Gil looks a talent for the future (personally I think theres a 90% chance he’ll be plagued with injuries due to how he plays, as i said with lo celso before we signed him), but Bryan Gil, as good as he is, is not the attacker we are currently missing. We are missing an eriksen/matheus pereira type to bring the best out of kane, alli and son (and even bring the best out of gil when he plays). Adding another direct player isnt going to improve our attack, its just going to perpetuate the last 2 seasons dogshit attacking football for another season but probably without kane or bale’s goals.

   Until we sign the intelligent creator we’ve been missing since feb 19, then i’ll hold off on praising paratici, as it looks like it could still be a case of new guy, same mistakes. I hope we get romero and probably lacroix too but we still need a defensive box to box to fix that defence more than any centreback will be able to.

   Fans love a new player regardless of what their level is. Bergwijn was going to replace eriksen despite being nothing alike. Doherty was going to replace aurier despite being nowhere near his level. Some people even thought joe hart was going to usurp lloris, despite being nowhere near his level. The creativity of our squad has went down yet again with lamela’s departure and that needs addressed, just as eriksen still needs addressed.

   I dont see an attack of son, dele, kane and gil being fluid enough in front of 2 holding mids. I do see an attack of son, dele, kane and pereira being fluid enough though.
