3. Be very interesting to see what happens come January with a couple of signings already before the season started and the media and pundits are already disillusioned. If micky mouse keeps butting in I can’t see conte staying around. And yes Harry your spot on we can compete with the Chelsea’s the cities and Liverpool. 15. Sampdoria have never in their history spent more than £18m on a player. Good luck getting £25m for winks. Reguilón was claimed to be £27m. Three years and a bit of player amortisation means he’s got to be reducing around £5.5m a year – so by 2023 he needs to go for what ? £12m ish to be a claimed profit ! Ridiculous isn’t it. They basically couldn’t sell the rubbish that Levy and Hitchins (remember him) bought. As David Pleat said in an interview last year. Tottenham don’t make money on all these average overseas players. Wake up and smell the coffee. As for Richy & his £50/£60m. That’s either Kane or son’s replacement right there. Right now. Age dictates that ENIC will sell one or the other next summer.

16. Don’t think the issue is about being financially competitive with signing players. Haaland wouldn’t have come to the newly minted City of 2008. For top players, winning is the metric. Why chose Spurs when the likelihood is you won’t get a trophy for however long you’re there? We need to actually spend the money to get there, and then we can attract better players to keep us there. But until Levy properly backs a manager with his choice of players, we will struggle with that gap. Shiny stadia and a nice training ground don’t attract players, but having a shot at winning the CL certainly would. But Levy hasn’t been focussed on that, and a large portion of the playing squad are far too comfortable to elevate the clubs current position.

20. I think we made 3 good signings udogie forster and perisic. I wish we hadn't loaned udogie straight out. I would rather we had spent 120mil on 3 world class players which would of been a cb rwb and a st. If we could got some money for players that conte didn't want. I don't see the point in having 5 wing backs and 5 holding midfielders. Richarlison at least adds something different. Moura needed to go Stevie B should of stayed he is better the gil and moura. Matt Hayes is young and has turned to a bit of a sheep. Gold got over excited and forgot he was talking spurs. ENIC just don't get it. We have some great attacking players but that defence is meh. Maybe 3rd no trophies. I hope conte piles on the pressure for January. If we hit a poor run conte will turn on the board for not having the players he needed and if he walks then half the fans will turn on ENIC

What I do know short term anyway is Bentacur and Holberg are our best midfield pairing.. Missed the former at Wham and it showed .. Onwards and upwards sir !

32. Spending money isn't a guarantee of success – Fofana & Koulibaly have had very shaky performances for Chelsea, our CB targets Bastoni and Gvardiol have started the season very slowly. I'm sure you're having a laugh with us and have put this video out before, or more likely the whiny shtick about transfers is getting repetitive. (Just honest feedback).

Good video… I don't think we can compete with the likes of City, Liverpool, Madrid, Barca, PSG, Bayern etc… It's not about financial H… These clubs are top draw and they buy in a different transfer pool than us… Haaland would never have signed for us, he was always going to City or Madrid or Barca or Bayern. . To attract the best players we have to be winning.. In a year or two, as long as we win a pot or two, and show we are truly in for the league, only then will we be able to compete with the likes of City and Madrid… Diaz, Raphinha and Traore immediately chose bigger clubs than us. I'm sure the likes of De Ligt, Kessie and Savic were all enquired about. Winning clubs with huge trophy cabinets , while we have a lot of dust… I think we've had a solid window, are definitely stronger, and have a good chance of winning something this season.. By the next summer window it will be phase 3, we should be able to attract a player or two in the "world class" bracket.
    Conte has worked wonders already.. We haven't even got going yet, and we are unbeaten with our best start since 2002 back when Hoddle was in charge.

39. Transfer window was absolute shite. Daniel Levy still pulling the strings which doesn't bode well for the club and Conte.

    Again Levy is absolutely awful, I said in one of the previous videos that instead of chasing Spence he could've signed Noussair Mazraoui for free, we're talking about a player who has champions league experience here and he's not even first choice at Bayern. Plus he'd start ahead of Royal, basically improving the team.

    60 million on Richarlison, too much money that could've been spent on Pau Torres for the left side instead of Lenglet on loan, Villarreal paid nothing for him so at 60 million they'd be making a profit.

    Anyway my point is if Conte doesn't get to pick transfer targets, get him quality players that will improve the team right here right now. None of this prospect/future nonsense.

41. all I can say is, you got me at the end there 😂😂, yup as I feared we went out with a fizzle too early in the transfer market and bought some more "future talent" , but the centre of midfield still doesn't have nearly enough power and creativity yet, certainly not consistently and no depth. Hopefully Conte can continue to improve what he has , and hopefully the doors continue to open both ways in the transfer windows ahead COYS.

42. Tottenham can definitely compete now with the rest. They choose not to spend it. We want quality signings to improve the squad and to keep Conte happy which they have to now.

If you look back in the history, even when the Bale money was put in Levy's safe, the money we did actually spend I think was already in the safe already and we both crap and never really replaced him. 47. The amount of fans and pundits/press that say we've had a good window, is amazing. I 've been called Moaning numpty on other sites. One guy said it depends how you look at the glass of milk half full or half empty I said it was sour and he didn't reply after that. Is it courage with the press or do they think they'll be unpopular with all their social media followings and their owners.
