1. Is it just me, or after the initial delirious (deluded me thinks) joy of the £150m cash injection headlines has everyone now come to their senses and realised "Levynomics" never went away & it will be the same old story of missed opportunities due to a disfuntional transfer policy?

  2. Yeah tbh. When i heard the "we're gonna back Conte" stuff and the 150 millions i was quite excited, now, obviously the window has just started, but I'm extremely dissapointed about how things going so far – and if it's true that Conte wants all signings to be done by July, well I'm not dissapointed – I'm devestated.

I simply can't understand the situation – even when we literally had no money there were at least rumours and at least hopes – Dybala who we nearly signed, we got Bale back, Martinez, etc. Now it's the first time we truly have a so called "war chest", and we sign "ok" players for free. WHY? What's the point? While squad depth is a criminally essential thing, the quality of our squad is just NOT GOOD ENOUGH. We need TOP players, proven players, not players who can be squad members but players who can DEVELOP this club further and who can be key players, but apart from Bastoni, there aren't even rumours or anything. We have the money, and we're NOT EVEN TRYING. I simply don't understand why.

We have the money to TRY to sign Milinkovic-Savic, Barella, and we're chasing Maddison, Bissouma (we have like 5-6 defending midfielders in our squad and they're the same level as him), and Eriksen for free. Why? Where's the ambition Conte was seeking for? Even if they wouldn't want to come to spurs (Like Torres, Bastoni, Martinez), why aren't we trying at least? And if we're not even trying, what the hell are we going to do with that 150 million? I guess spend it all on mediocre players, like Arsenal did last year, we will end up signing Bissouma for 60 million so Levy can tell Conte that "see we tried, we had the 6 signings you were asking for"

It also seems like most people doesn't understand the biggest problem of spurs, and no, it's not defence, after Conte arrived our defence has been the 3rd best in the premier league, in the last 15 games we conceded less goals than City (!). While we need a world class defender, it shouldn't be enough.

Our biggest problem is to break the teams who are defending deep – and we're buying Perisic and it seems like f*ckin Spence :DDDDD Don't get me wrong I don't think they're bad players, especially Perisic, but they won't solve our problem. This is not a solution. The squad of City, Pool, and even frickin Manchester United (yes) are MILES above us, and we won't be closer to them by signing squad players. I thought Conte's ambition was to win the Premier League or at least try to fight for it, but I don't see him getting the players he need to achieve that – or, if he needs Spence and Forster to do that, well :DDDDD I doubt it.

United is chasing De Jong, City buys Haaland, Liverpool will sign Nunez, Chelsea is after Kounde, and we're doing absolutely nothing. The market is filled with great players and we have the money to buy them – Milinkovic Savic, Kostic (for 15 million…), Pedro Forro, we could even try Barella/Martinez or somebody from Inter (I know that it's not sure if they would come, just like Bastoni, but we should at least TRY to sign players who can actually develop this club further). Milinkovic would be a signing who could take us to the next level, he's the type of player we desperately NEED.

Also this Serie A fetish by Paratici and Conte is quite annoying – there are great players there (Romero, Kulu, our best signings in the last few years), but it's getting to a level where it's hurting the club, we signed Perisic instead of Kostic, who's obviously a good player but mostly for squad depth, Kostic is just simply a better player.

Whatever, i just hope better times come.

  3. Should have got Pope imo, but we got a keeper who is as close to retirement as Hugo is😑
Now in a couple of years we'll need to find two keepers instead of one.

  4. "Highly respected recruitment specialist Steve Hitchen left the club earlier this year." – Sami Mokbel for the mailonline ……………………………………….. Bollockology.

  5. I’m not sure there’s any truth in the Erickson rumours. If Conte wanted him it would’ve been done by now as the other free transfers have.
I don’t think you can compare Liverpools transfer policy with ours. They already have a squad that regularly challenges for titles so they only need to make the odd elite signing, the same with City. Spurs need improvement in most areas and that means spending money a little more carefully. Fraser is a decent appointment. He’s experienced, English and free. He will slot in effortlessly when called upon. Lloris still has a couple of seasons in him so I don’t think we need to look for his long term replacement just yet.
I think there will be a couple of big transfers coming in but we haven’t got limitless funds and we do need to build the squad up so not all incomings will be £50m+
Things are looking up. The stadium is fully up and running. We have an elite manager. We’re back in the champions league. The owners have thrown some money at it and with Paratici we now have someone pulling the strings that actually knows football.
Maybe it’s best to refer judgement until the end of the transfer window and see how the squad is shaping up.

  6. Would really of liked us to sign Sanchez as a keeper, young, good distribution we went with the cheaper option, sound familiar. Instead of Eriksen why not look at someone else, we know what he could do back in the day but we also seen what he was like when he wanted to leave. This transfer window is starting to smell like Levy.

  7. This transfer window is going to be a colossal waste of everyone's time. If they were really going to back the manager you pick up the phone and this is how the conversation goes "How much for Bastoni?…… £50 million….. I'll transfer the money" Its what people who wear big boy pants do. Not our mob, free transfers and payday loans all the way.

  8. If y'all think 150m is gonna be good enough to challenge the liverpool, city, chelski and woman United you're dreaming. It's just about enough to win the carabao cup. It's a start I'll admit, but need same for the next two summers to compete. Coys.

  9. Great vid ,,we’re looking for more spotters with buzzwords such as global footprints 👣 and Liverpool are spending 85 mil on more star players 🤷🏻‍♂️
    COYS

  10. Didn’t you know Mr Hotspur – the sum of 40 million or whatever it was is now no longer known as that amount, it’s known simply worldwide and ‘Romero Money’.

  11. The season ended well but those of us with a brain know that good things never last under ENIC, we know where this is going and thank you for reminding us the harsh reality while others so called journalists continue to paper over the cracks.

  12. 2,500,000 million words isn't enough for the dross being written by so called journalists
🤦 they might as well write a new Harry Potter book, there's would be more truth in that

  13. Our club will never change when it comes to new signings we apparently are in for every player on the planet but never get top
Players we go after . Can you see it changing in this window ? As I can’t COYS

  14. Frazier forster, proven winner.
He’s won everything in English football. Don’t get that signing at all, same as Ericksen have the Spurs fans forgotten how it all ended with him.
I keep reading about DJed spence…
Wrapped a forest scarf around his head pointing at the heavens when forest won the playoffs. Now by all accounts wants to come to Spurs…
    Do one

  15. I'd take eriksen on a free with reasonable wages but I wouldn't make it priority. He was pants at the end of his time with us and also when he went to inter with Conte he wasn't that great either.

  16. Fantasy football department, Tottenham Cocksports Stadium.
    Wide-boy department..
'So what fantasy are we gonna sell today, boss?'
'Fuck knows…don't matter, does it?..all those so-called sports journalists run with any old shit, we hand 'em..'
    'You're not wrong..'
'I mean, we are going for Bastoni, Torres, Bremerr et al…heh…plus, we got the Parat flying here and there..reminds me of that character from Heat..'I'm creating leads, I'm dancin, Vincent.'
''GIVE ME ALL YOU GOT!!! ha hargh!'
    'Yeah, plenty o 'that.'
'Remind me who we're not in for, boss?'
    .'…………………give me all you got.'
    😇

  17. You made a good point about Lloris, no thought to the future with us signing Forster. Liverpool are always planning for the future and make sure they have a fresh crop of young talent ready to replace the older ones. We on the other hand keep the old girls going for as long as possible until the wheels fall off. We will never be as good as Liverpool.

I'd like to add as well, signing Eriksen has failure written all over it. You wont see Liverpool signing Coutiniho so they can make one last song together…..

  18. Eriksen. No thanks. Had some good moments, but often went missing in the big games, more often than not failed to beat the first man on corners, phoned it in for the final year or so he was at the club and made it obvious he didn't want to be there. If we are serious about trying to win something with the added pressure of CL games, we need someone who has more consistency and has a win at all costs mentality.

  19. It wouldn't matter what nonsense was being churned out by these hacks if it wasn't designed to put Spurs in a bad light; we're always said to be losing out! Scoulding will assist Paratici with analytics as you say, that's what he was hot on at Rangers; but why hire someone with no experience of the Premier League? We need to poach LiVARpool's recruitment team pronto, or at least wire their offices for sound. TBH I'll be glad when the window closes, keeping up with the stories is too exhausting, even with your excellent pods!

  20. I got the link for this video when I signed up to Sadsack, yesterday .I 'm glad he recovered and he's playing football again but stay at Brentford. The only Top flight club that were willing to take a punt on Eriksen . Pay them the respect they showed you and sign a new contract. As the window opens so does the rumour mill, at least it keeps all those journalists abreast with the rising cost of living, that's one worry of all our minds.☹

  21. The fanbase have forgotten how the Eriksen saga ended. Bringing him back is the cheap nostalgia option Mr Levy would sign up for. Yes he may work out as a short term fix to a thinly talented squad. However when Conte decides to pull the plug on the penny pinching upstairs we will be left 30+ year old player on high wages. I don’t think Citeh or Liverpool would fix the creative midfield void this way. Fresh blood in the dressing room please.
