  1. Problems can be shown with a simple calculation – shots to goals ratio. I kind of lost the thread at one point, but I make it around 120 shots on goal over the last 8 or so games (not a bad number you'd think), but only 4 goals… Same reason we were relegated, unable to get the ball in the damn net. We're making opportunities, but not actually hitting the target. Unless we do, it's a lengthy Championship (or lower) future for us. Not sure it's entirely a managerial thing, but with that number of shots, and the low number of goals we're never going anywhere. We either need a couple of new proper poacher / strikers, or a different regime on the training pitch to get the goals flowing like the shots do. Last few games there have been nailed on cross goal opportunities that went begging that a Phillips or Super Bob would have nailed. Margins are fine, you have to take the chances.

  2. I know you won't do this but you need to play Cleary with Dike give Cleary a chance he cannot be any worse than Robinson or any of the other strikers were playing non of them are scoring I think they could be a good strike force given a chance

  3. Yawn ? same old ? it's a squad game. Good feeling he keeps saying??? The players not feeding off his good feeling that's for sure. ?

  4. I dont buy his argument nthat we're missing players, he couldn't organise the full teamw when they were available…so that's a big worry. Getting out-thought by every manager that's another worry

  5. Val it’s time to go you should of gone weeks ago while we still had a chance of finishing top 2. I’ve never seen a manager as bad as this his tactics are shit and his systems are dreadful worse than pulis ball

  6. now it's not enough to hear you anymore you are a totally useless coach leave the club now only you are just embarrassed with your excuses and no knowledge of how to get the best out of the players with the right tactics. none of the players want or like the only tactic you can only football, they do not want to play for you .it is sooooo boring to watch 4 goals in 9 matches this is the worst football I have seen since 1978 … something must happen we can not have it like that for 3 more years … ????

  8. Since the start of September 22 games have now passed, this team has only scored 2 or more goals in 3 games. I won't include the Coventry game one was classed as an OG. How much is that down to the players or the coach/managers tactics? I look at the results and performances it's shocking. No comment on today's performance I never watched the game. Throughout the season, I have read all sorts of excuses, teams set up to stop us playing. Swansea, Stoke and Fulham never did that they out played us big time. It's amazing how our promotion rivals can overcome such tactics. Val is a clown and been out of his depth for sometime. It's a great shame some supporters cannot see this. They choose to make all sorts of excuses. Looking at the trend of results, I think automatic promotion is out of the window. If we manage to make the play offs (big if), we won't win them with this clown in charge, the bloke cannot get us to win 3 games consecutively or score more than two goals!
