  1. Short term cant go wrong lads. Were somewhat in a crisis and Bruce wilI sure things up i echo your thoughts on the 4 year contract, it was a poor decision. However Hugill had plenty of chances IMO and he had plenty of goal scoring opportunities which be squandered. The board havent got a clue. There needs to be a long term plan but they need to get it right this time. Hopefully they will look for someone fresh and new after his contract is up. Bottom line is we need to be up by next season and hopefully he can create a new manager bounce which can bring us up the table a bit or atleast create some space between 7th place. We haven't finished below 4th in 21 years in this league. I hope that doesn't change this year

  2. Why is 5th so bad? Last season he was at a club which built its whole model on the gegenpress over 3 years. I think he needed a few transfer windows and patience to really implement his approach.

  3. Val was a bit hard done by but our record over the past 15 games has been very poor. All was rosy initially but something went sour a few months ago.

Unfortunately whoever comes in will inherit a thin and overrated squad that, in truth, isn't that strong. Concerning times IMO

  4. The WBA board knew what style of football he played at Barnsley, so why appoint him? Would he go back to Barnsley like Nathan Jones did at Luton? My mate plays for Barnsley and he'd love him back!

  5. This type of sacking always happens after the transfer window shuts. In West Brom's case they splash out big on Dike and he lasts 1 game before being out for 2 months, he joined because of Ismael and how they worked together. So the new manager has to cope with what he has and has not got. And it is possible that the decline or 'rot' under Ismael may be hard to halt.
