2. Not a mavs fan but dirks road to glory is a special one ! That playoff run was special ! I MEAN special. Mavs team had players outside their prime and they won a championship against a super team but the mavs was playing lights out and I wish we had that type of star now that can put play and out win a super team in this day an age right now.dirks championship is prob the hardest road among the champs today and prior to him.

18. I'm german and not interest to NBA, because it's not shown and number one Sports here. But Dirk is the best person who represent us. He's the best. I think a career like Dirk dones, it never comes again in our lifetime. Thank you Dirk aus Würzburg, you are a number in this game, forever!

Watched him all the way from 1998 to 2019 I even grew up in dallas when I was younger and he Changed the big man position although he no gonna get his credit but I enjoyed watching him play over the years and just was always a genuine awesome personality. Dirk deserves this and yet he so humble Im glad I got to watch with legends from the 90s and 2000s era. 41 forever

42. I love this. I grew up watching Magic and Kareem as a Lakers fan in SoCal, and Michael Jordan later, and then Kobe and Shaq, but from the time Dirk came into the league, you could see he was something special. He deserved EVERY BIT of this pomp and circumstance. The guy was one heck of a player. This was definitely deserved.
