19. The special thing about the Chelsea team is that they have so many guys playing on a similar level, no superstars. Still not sure whether it's good or bad in the long run.

    What Tuchel wants in that position (Neymar), Mount can't give (Lampard). Mount is a workhorse and he will pressure his butt off but he's not going to slice through the defense, he's not going to make a no look pass, he's not going to release the ball at the right moment, he's not going to score a magical goal with aplomb, basically he's not going to turn water into wine because he's not that player. He can do what Kovacic does, the question is can he do it better? If not then he has to sit on the bench like all the other youngsters and learn his trade.

30. Because the English media is putting pressure on Tuchel to play the boy. He can't play as one of the DMs and he can't play on the wings. The fact is that mason has to sit on the bench and be Kovacic's backup. People have to remember that Neymar and Mbappe were the ones playing the AM or 10 role for Tuchel at PSG. Mount can't play that role the way Tuchel wants it played and Chelsea has many players that can play it better. Pulisic, Timo, Kai, Ziyech, Barkley and perhaps even Jorginho. Tuchelsea does not need a workhorse in that role, he need a show pony with tricks, style and poise. Mount is no show pony and is still a gelding that should be on the bench learning his trade if we want to win trophies.
