I believe Tuchel is going to bench Reece and play Odoi in the wing back position and let Ziyech and Mount play the two in field role. Tuchel is trying new things and i like is cleverness and tactical awareness no doubt. To be honest, we need a good left wing back who is more direct than Alonso. We don't want to be predictable where team realize that 75% of our attack is down the right hand side. But we know what Alonso will bring but we need a more direct man to be honest.

16. I'm sorry NINI but Kova and Jorg were immense today! Both deserve higher ratings, If you're gonna give James an 8 in a game where he really didn't do much. It's easy to appreciate what Mason does on the pitch, you can see his excellent positioning because he is at that crucial point to start the attack, but what is just as impressive is the way Jorg and Kova had Sissoko and Højbjerg on toast all game! They made evading them look like child's play, and that gave Mason all the freedom to be creative.

    I have no doubt Mason deserves his score, amazing talent, but today, the double 6 in my opinion were better at their role of evading the press and playing Mason into the game, than the attack was at their role of scoring and creating chances. When we grade player performances, it should be based on the roles they play, and the double 6 today played their roles flawlessly.

19. Nini’s pride and dislike for Jorginho & kova won’t allow him to score them higher. They were easily 8.0-8.5 for me, Without those two in midfield the team wouldn’t have functioned as it did.
    I said this before that Jorginho n kova are good players if you have a manager that knows how to use them.
    Same way how Busquets n Rodri for City play. They’re not strong players but tactically aware and they control games. That’s why pep was fuming he didn’t get Jorginho and its the same reason Arteta wanted Jorginho. Good managers know how to use players

21. To give Werner the same rating as Azpi, it feels like an insult to Azpi. I think Azpi played a great part with his defensive contribution and his pass. I don't think Reece James is better compared to Azpi contribution against Tottenham yesterday.
    And if Jorginho is 7.5, kovacic should be 8 or 8.5 and Mount to be 9.0 at least.

    I think Werner should be 6.0
    jorginho 7.0, Azpi 7.5, kovacic 8.0 and Mount 8.5

Besides the final third, I believe mount should also work on moving towards the pass instead of waiting for the ball to reach him,,,, because if a defender gets his timing perfect he can easily poke the ball out and that would kill our offense,, but yesterday it worked pretty well in the first half because spurs were sitting deep. In the second half, he tried the same move but kept on being fouled,,,, it takes one player to time their challenge perfectly!! So yeah,,, i hope he works on that
