Both Pierre and Winks were shakey in the first half, but as soon as I saw the sub for Pierre, I told my brothers we better hope Southampton let us have the ball for the remainder of the game, because once they turn up the pressure like they did in the first half, it would end up looking like we have one defender…and it did . Say what u will about PEH but we know he always tries to impact the game on or off the ball(not always successful but he tries his best in both situations ) and keeps waking up the sleeping players and until we get enough players that don't need to be reminded to wake up during a match and focus he should be on that field.

Regarding time zones as someone who has to have meetings with California, New York and Europe, I would say that an 8pm kick off in the UK (normal for sport here) would be midday in California and 3pm in New York. It would probably be ok I would imagine. Got to make use of the massive NFL changing rooms that are twice the size of Spurs own changing rooms…

12. To be fair to the club, providing the context has been attempted by them publishing quotes from the focus groups. It's also reasonable to suggest that the context people cling to in order to legitimise the use of the Y-word is getting lost. Basically, our context can't apply to all (Jewish people) and while we continue, so will the scumbags at Chelsea and West Ham (for all the wrong reasons). But I'm a woke middle class lefty, so i probably would say that ;-).

My response to all this rubbish about Spurs fans using the word is that Spurs should concentrate on persuading the FA and other clubs that they need to stop their fans from using the word in a derogatory way and in the case of Chelsea to stop their fans from outright anti Semitism. 35. After last night’s performance, Emerson Royal surely cannot be picked again for some time. He was absolutely useless – cannot defend, cannot attack ! – what he can to well is fall to the ground regularly feigning an injury ! Pre season Lavinier & Paskotsi both looked good in friendlies as right wing backs – time I think to try our youngsters ? – cannot be worse than Royal can they ? We paid £22.5 mil for him ! !
