  4. Some clubs have an excess of centre backs. Manchester United, for example, have players like Rojo and Jones that never play. It should be possible to do some sort of short-term win-win loan deal for player(s) that are currently "surplus to requirements".

  10. who tf wants international break i mean players have to play so many games they get tired leading to injuries look how many players are getting injured. They should scrap the international breaK i have no problem but it is very tiring you can do it someothertime this break should be for all players to rest

Thanks as ever Craig , last news we wanted , and we all hope Joe comes back stronger as soon as he can – Klopp will have to enter the market in January and bring forward what was probably his plan on summer 2021 to get a new CB in .   16. Rival fan here, liverpools squad was bound to be hit with injurys you guys where monsters for the past 2 seasons playing at 200% and the fixture pill up helps no team. Hope gomez gets well soon dont like seeing any players injured.

  22. This is why I hate international breaks. Pointless friendlies .also as much as I love klopp for everything he has done he has got to take some of the blame here by not buying an extra centre back . Yes he sold lovren and I did say at the time that he must be replaced and klopp went and copied what pep guardiola did and not buy a centre back and look what's happend?

    A message to rival fans who think it's acceptable to wish injuries on any player well shame on you.😡😡😡

    PS: for all those screaming to "buy" a defender in January, shouldn't forget that most players can't be just dropped in like spare part, unless LFC can get an absolute world class player, and even then it's a gamble. I've always been in favour of playing the academy kids, at least it's cool to watch and an investment in next season and shows some trust and integrity.
    Time to put high expectations into the back of the drawer and just go for it.

  29. FFS. Love Joey Gomez. Get well soon been quality recently for still a young lad. For me it will be Fab and Matip in CB which is still very solid. Hendo, Thiago and Gini in mid. We'll be ok! Up the fucking reds

    It's going to be long hard though old season.
    We're so unlucky with all the injuries our players are getting.
    For me I don't class Matip as a player in our team until I see him on the team sheet on match day, he is so unreliable! He carnt keeo fit.
    That means at this current time we only have Philips and Ryhs Williams as our only 2 centre backs😱
    Philips aint even registered for the champions league aswell.
    Its a priority to sign 2 top class centre backs in January!
    We will be lucky to get top 4 at this rate as I expect more injuries from the other players. Hendo always picks up an main Injury aswell.
    We're gona have to start out scoring teams now and putting games to bed early. The front 4 have to really step up now. 💯

  31. when will the powers that be get it into there thick skulls these friendlies are stupid in the best of times but in the current world state its pure madness i can accept that that qualifiers must go on but friendlies no one cares thanks FIFA for making a bad situation even worse
