1. Brighton was a good performance but we need to back it up against Southampton.

   We need consistency. It’s easily said than done, but whoever of the top four hopefuls can muster it will get that CL spot.

3. Calvert Lewin is not averse at pretending to be a catwalk model. Dele should fit right in! On the other hand you could quite reasonably draw the conclusion that this is where it all went wrong for Dele. Too much too soon!

4. Delis in the past now for Tottenham but it wouldn’t hurt to have put a shirt tie and jacket on its not like he hasn’t got time to get ready . I wouldn’t do me gardening dressed like he was . Pride of appearance says a lot about his professionalism .

5. It looks like Dele Alli, aged only 25, is all washed up.
   It's mostly down to him, but football has become so ridiculous that the players do not have to put in any effort to get the reward. They become immensely wealthy for doing very little.
   Turning up in a Rolls Royce just says it all.

   A shame as he has some talent and ability. 10 years from now he'll probably look back with some regret.

   Well, we could all say that about the football teams we end up supporting. Our curse, (well, it turned into a curse, the day Joe and Danny- boy rocked up)is THFC…it was better Saturday, but I believe we have been down this road many times.There are all the top teams, still in this competition, probably playing their lesser players, at the moment. Don't get too worked up just yet, chaps and chappettes…and remember, if we'de have turned a different corner, all those years ago, we might have been supporting Chelsea or Arsenal…..

7. Romero was outstanding.
   I really like these 2 signings.
   I'm gonna say it, Winks could be a very good backup player to come on and close games off.
   Exciting to see how this team develops for the rest of the season.

9. just getting rid of deadwood players has given us hope that we've got a manager/ coach who wants to win no slackers …COYS!!

10. His career is in the fridge for the last two years but he still earns north of £5mm a year and that’s the problem. There are no consequences for players once the contract is signed. Just show up and kick a ball around and behave as u want. These contracts are totally in the players favor and something needs to be changed.

15. Kane looks happy and confident. Always good for any striker. Sonny's back and flying. Romero's solid. New boys look eager. The deadheads on the bench have cleared off. The commentator even announced the sighting of "the lesser spotted Joe Rodon". Long way to go but so far so good.

17. I was asking myself the very same question during the game. There were moments of cohesiveness but I thought, overall, we still struggled to have any control in midfield, nor could we string together many passing sequences. I thought Romero was good. And the new boys looked promising.

18. 2 weeks of training under conte, and the results were clear, the match day squad looks strong, with pace on the bench, I trust we’ll be the same against Southampton midweek, early goal always helps,son/ Kane look dangerous, I sort of felt I can trust this lot today, dier and skip to come back, if we can avoid key injuries, then we are capable of reaching the 70 -75 point plus mark which will be enough for top 4

20. That was the best performance I seen last night and to beat Brighton 3-1 at home was a fantastic result. Thou well too early to say we are back to our best. Finally it looks like we got some real talent with our two new signings thou there still a bit rusty but for that short time and with more game time we should be able to push for a top 4 spot. 22. Kulusevski is fit as a fiddle, he blew the medical team away so there’s no issues with weight or fitness. I think he’s just slow. Which is odd for a wide player.

27. Yesterdays win felt good. For once I wasn’t worried in the last 30 mins that we would blow it. I liked the new signings they looked comfortable and Romero looked good. Some of our fans are a worry.

29. We’re still too easy to dribble through in that midfield, no way Hojbjerg and winks can start together. Our midfield must be our first defense

30. It was very good yesterday but you have to say where would we be without Harry Kane. Absolutely world class.

31. Look, Levy/Enic have there hands in too many pies, ie buying up properties on the Highroad and the planning permissions granted on 3 housing apartments (1 including a cinema) is evidence they will not be selling any time soon

32. We were much better than Brighton last night. But i want see the kind of performance we gave against Liverpool this season. It's good to see kane firing again thats so important for us

39. Last night is definitely in the 'More please' category. Defense looked so much calmer with Romero back absolute Royals Royce of a player. I agree definitely a different feel to the side last night.

40. learnt not to judge to soon,,, sony was a slow starter, yet bergwijn got of to a flyer,, i thought kulusevski looked a bit 1 footed?? ,, but definitely had that feeling, we are more of a team now,, funny what shifting out dead wood does to the soul, we are now in that place we been in a few times since the 70s,,, just 3 top players short of really having something special

41. And now we need to chill a bit like we haven't for ages. Trust in Paratici and Conte, that they know what they are doing and signing. I believe they have good confidence in all players in the squad now.

42. The 2 signings had good cameos. Bentancur's deficiencies were evident in his slow pace when covering spaces while kulu was lacking stamina but his composure on the ball was refreshing to see on the right wing. They need atleast 3 more weeks training before they're ready to start games. Great content @The_Boy_Hotspur
