Can we have a rating for peripheral awareness and generally knowing whats going on around them. I suspect there would be lots of 1s and 2s. In the old days it was called ball watching.
The thing I have noticed about Richie, apart from being Duracell boy, is that he is good at receiving the ball with his back to goal and developing things from there. Just love his never-say-die attitude and energy.
What do you need to see from Richy to be “sold” on him?

I love the way you always say what we feel or think. Harry, that goal was definitely Romero being rusty. He wouldn't usually get done by someone cutting inside so easily. Richie and Kane definitely men of the match but they all stepped up well. Love the fact that we come out faster this time and more aggressive and less of the negative back passing. Just always a worry when we're one now up we let and encourage teams to come back at us straight after the goal We've got to keep possession more and go forward
Little harsh on Sess his perseverance made that second goal.
Richy has personality that isn’t for everyone but you can’t question his commitment to whatever he does. Lenglet looked solid, Holjberg and Bentancur made the midfield look good.
This was good – hopefully a regular for each game. My calculator must be broken – no matter how many times I try it keeps telling me the winning margin was one!
About what was expected..Sessignon is not an answer to any question..just not good enough, consistently, at this level…Richarlison is a nuisance to the opposition, which is useful…Son can't buy a goal..shame….and my home-town guys, I don't think, will be on relegation duty, this season..🤞…

We looked better today. But still i see issues. Sessegnon is not good enough. He looks lightweight to me. Udogie will be better than him. I think the city game will be interesting. They are not in full flow yet. Can our defence cope with haaland. We will learn a lot from this game. If we can get a win its a big 3 points. But i would be happy to get out of there with a draw.

What was your rating for Kane?
Came away from the game very pleased with the result but was also happy of the nice added extra of playing more aggressively. Agree on your assessment of Richy, will be a fan favourite on closing down effort alone. Also agree on your assessment of Ryan. Both fullbacks are lacking for me and they both play better on Conte’s side of pitch go figure. I was impressed with Lenglet some key headers won by the lad. Those extra inches in height compared to Ben saved us from a Mitrovic barrage in the second half. Winning is indeed the metric, we go again into the era of 2 games a week against proper European competition. Keeping it Tottenham as always.
