Macca gave in his all in his final season for LFC
I don´t know if its appropriate for a madridista to interject here but Macca is still loved and admired in the Bernabeu. He broke the curse on english players at Real.
Love this conversation
Macca was so much better than giggs.
Pleased he proved it by going to Madrid
What a player, great example of Liverpool's legacy.
A sustainable plan for a club would be to bring the academy coaches into the first team alongside the players that graduate.
No more hiring super managers, but an escalator system instead.
For example,
Klopp would be replaced by Alex inglethorpe as his youth team emerge into the first team.
Great footballer. Awful pundit
As someone who was too young to remember him playing and doesn’t really rate him as a pundit or commentator, this has really helped me warm to him.
I’ve seen his goal compilations and the old season reviews and he was obviously class but I always just thought of him as someone who had his success elsewhere and never really classed him as a Liverpool legend.
Legend!
Best one yet tha. Boss
Always loved Macca. Legend. Hope this interview puts to bed that rubbish about calling him a mercenary. So he left. Players do. Seems like a top guy.
Rob jones would be a good guest, id like to hear his story.
i am a everton fan from toxteth i went to school with fowler st pats and nugent he was on another level even asa child he was that good
Playing in the rec on the gravel pitch
As a former Kop season ticket holder i saw these two play many times
Enjoyed that – Macca and Robbie were an absolute joy to watch on the pitch.
Macca was two wingers and a support striker in one player. That free role he played was devastating to the opposition
A club sandwich by room service at 10.30 in the evening 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Great watch this!
People bang on about Beckham at Real Madrid, but Mecca had a more successful career than him in Madrid
This is a superb series – every episode has been brilliant😍
Loved Macca growing up, you will be remembered for the exact reasons you said at the end for me.
